As Nala struggles to keep from falling into the divide, Kion reaches down the cliff and pulls her to safety. At first, the Pride Landers are tense, but Kion works to defuse the tension. After a rainstorm hits the Pride Lands, Kion leads the Lion Guard in a patrol for any signs of trail blockage. As the Lion Guard goes to rescue the oryxes from the hyenas, Cheezi and Chungu bound down the cliff to join Janja. As the honey badger lies in a defeated slump, Ono flies in and drops a leaf full of termites, which turns out to be a thank you present from the aardwolves.
